All teachers are licensed with the city of Pocatello and CPR Certified.
Mrs. Katrina is excited for her first year of teaching at ABC Express! She has been married to her amazing husband Logan for 11 years and they have 2 incredible daughters that light up their life. Her littlest will be attending ABC Express this year.
She and her husband own and operate The Cocoa Cauldron where they make and sell delicious hot cocoa. In her spare time Katrina loves reading, gardening, photography, the beach, all things Disney, crocheting, being out in nature, and baking treats.
Geri Hernandez
Teacher- M/W/F 4yr classes
Geri Hernandez was born in Pocatello, Idaho but has lived most of her life in Chubbuck. She attended Highland High School, where she excelled in academics, dance and sports. She attended Idaho State University on a Track & Field scholarship, where she majored in Elementary Education. While in college, she directed and taught the after-school gymnastics program for School District #25. Geri created and directed the Miss Idaho and Miss Royal Pageant system, a children's natural modeling, talent and interview competition, which ran successfully for 25 years. After her children were grown, she returned to competitive clogging, where she was a 3-time national champion. She worked in the financial industry before choosing a career with Bannock County. After 25 years, she took an early retirement, to care for her elderly mother up until her passing.
Geri is excited to return to her original passion of teaching children and is so excited to be able to educate precious young minds. Geri Has been married to her sweetheart, Roger, for over 23 years and they have three daughters, one son and four grandchildren. She enjoys music, crossword puzzles, traveling and cookie baking.
Stacey Strickland
Teacher- T/TH 3yr classes
Stacey was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. She graduated from Idaho State University in 2000 with a bachelor's in Elementary Education with Early Childhood Emphasis and is certified in K-8. As an entrepreneur, she started and taught her own preschool for two years. From 2005-2022 she worked in schools K-12 classrooms. She specializes in early childhood education. She has successfully helped students learn and grow and reach high levels of achievement in reading and math including students with disabilities. She currently owns her own tutoring business and tutors students in reading and math. She loves the outdoors and spending time with her family. She is looking forward to working at ABC preschool
Tami Romriell
Teacher- T/TH 3yr classes
Dr. Tami Romriell has 5 children and 9 grandchildren and has been married to her sweetheart, Philip, for 45 years. For most of that time they have lived here in Pocatello, Idaho. They also spent 9 ½ years in Anchorage, Alaska...brrr!
When she had her last child she decided to run a preschool in her home. She enjoyed this so much! Tami received her Bachelor's in Business in July of 2010, Master’s in Management in October of 2012, and a Ph.D. in Business Management with a specialization in Management Education in February of 2020. She currently creating a course for moms who are pursuing their Ph.D. to provide them with the tools and knowledge they will need to be successful.
In her spare time, she loves working out at the gym, gardening, reading books, spending time with her grandkids, and traveling with her hubby.
This is her first year at ABC Express and she is look forward to teaching and serving your sweet, little, kiddos!
Anna Lee
Teacher- T/TH 3yr classes
Anna Lee graduated from Pocatello High School. She likes pizza, Spider-Man, and dark chocolate. She has a puppy named Koda, and 5 siblings, She loves working with kids, and have always wanted to teach preschool. Anna is looking forward to this school year
JENNIFER McMASTER

Mrs. Jen was born in Pocatello and raised in the awesome city of Chubbuck. She graduated from Highland High School and studied Elementary Education at Rick's College and Idaho State University with a minor in Dance. Jennifer started ABC Express in 2001.
*Worked as a teacher and manager at Just for Kids Daycare and Preschool (2 years)
*Ran the After School Program for District 25 (2 years)
*Coached and umpired softball for the City of Chubbuck (17 years)
*Taught clogging in both Rexburg and Pocatello (20 years)
She has been married to Lance for more than 20 years, mom to Maloree, Celeste, and Bryson and Grandma to 2 beautiful grandkids. Some of her hobbies are camping, fishing, crafting, 2nd hand shopping, organizing, singing, clogging, and most of all spending time with her friends and family.
MARY KAE RYNER
Manager/ Teacher M/W/F and T/Th 4yr classes
Mrs Mary started teaching at ABC Express in August 2013 and quickly fell in love with teaching preschoolers. She graduated from Ricks College now BYU-I in 1996. She served on the Idaho State PTA Board of Directors for 10 years as Region 5 Director and VP of Membership where she volunteered with others advocating for the children of Idaho. She also started MK Ryner Design, specializing in Bridal alterations. She sends her afternoons and summer altering Wedding Dresses. She enjoys sewing, cooking, home improvement projects and cake decorating. She has been married to husband Paul for 28 years and has 3 children all ABC Express graduates.
